Kauri Cliffs Golf Course and Spa Resort Adventure
Day 2 of Road Trip
An early start as the boys had golf booked for 9 am tee off. We left the hotel at 7 am and arrived a Kauri Cliffs at 8 am and finished the day with fish and chips in. Manganui.
Road Map of our journey:
From the moment we arrived at Kauri Cliffs to the time we left we were all in awe from the stunning scenery and coastline looking out to the amazing Cavalli Islands in the North to Cape Brett in the South. The beautiful Kauri Cliffs lodge, 19th hole clubhouse, to the service and amazing attention to detail in the spa.

Signature Spa Treatment at Robertson Lodge Kauri Cliff
Our experience consisted of a MANUKA SCRUB AND MASSAGE, a wonderful 80min treatment (actually ended up being an hour and 40mins) consisting of a full body scrub and wonderful healing massage, lovely facilities’, herbal teas and lovely staff, we could have stayed at this place forever.

19th hole/clubhouse - After the boys had finished playing golf we had a light lunch and was a perfect setting with wonderful views out to Cavalli Islands in the North to Cape Brett in the South. A perfect place for us to enjoy a light lunch, beverage and discuss our spa and golf outings.
A private beach at the southern point of Kauri Cliff's coastline where we took a golf cart from the clubhouse and once we got as far as we could in the cart we walked 3k (total) to view a stunning blue coastline and wonderful pink fine sea shells rather than sand. A wonderful experience to view. We missed seeing the Pink Beach in Lombok so this certainly made up for it. See more images here
After staying as long as we could it was finally time to head off, what a day and next time we hope we can stay in one of the lodges, just need to save the $2200 per night cost!
Fish and Chips
World Famous Mangonui Fish Shop was a recommended stop for dinner where we enjoyed a well-deserved cold beer, fresh fish and chips a great setting and of course awesome company.
It was a very early night after a great experience at Kauri Cliff and a day we will all remember for a lifetime.
